Real Connections

Building Lasting Relationships

Our mentorship program pairs first and second-year students with upper-year mentors who've walked the same halls, faced the same courses, and found their footing at Queen's. From coffee chats to résumé reviews, mentorship at NSBE is hands-on and personal.

Whether you're looking for guidance or ready to give back, there's a place for you in the program.

NSBE Queen's mentorship session

Starting at Queen's

Your first year, mapped out

First year is the steepest part of the climb. Our First Year Transition Manual walks you through course loads, study habits, campus resources, residence life, and where NSBE fits into all of it, written by students who have already been through it.

Pair it with a mentor and you start the year with someone in your corner from week one.

Open the First Year Transition Manual
  • 1Read the transition manual before move-in week.
  • 2Sign up as a mentee and get matched with an upper-year student in your program.
  • 3Come to a first-year social and meet the rest of your cohort.
  • 4Join study pods and exam prep sessions once midterms hit.
